Jaishree Pramila

DIETITIAN

Hi, I’m Jaishree Pramila. I am a qualified dietitian with an M.Sc. in Dietetics from Dr. MGR Medical University in Chennai, with 3+ years of rich experience in the field. I am a member of the Indian Dietetic Association. I am not just a professional dietitian, but a foodie as well. Therefore, I always aim to find the golden middle path between healthy eating and treating your taste buds. I strongly discourage unhealthy trends such as crash or fad diets, or prolonged dependence on meal replacements such as bars or shakes. I firmly believe in balanced eating and natural ways to optimise your health through nutrition. Hence, I typically advocate seasonal and indigenous food habits.

My areas of expertise are: weight loss, weight gain, diabetes management, hormonal imbalance (PCOS/PCOD, hypothyroidism etc.), paediatric nutrition (weaning foods, healthy eating habits in children, weight management in children and teenagers), pre-pregnancy, pregnancy and lactation and gestational diabetes.

Before starting this career, I worked with different institutes in India like the Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences and Yashomathi Hospital in Bangalore. Early on in my career, I actively participated in community nutrition programs. I am pleased to have happy clients across India.
